Nostalgia NOSTALGIA 90’S | OG Kush
OG KUSH
Indica
According to cannabis community lore, OG Kush was the brainchild of a man we only know as “Bubba” in the Los Angeles, CA area in the ’90s. Legend has it, Bubba received a cutting of Chemdawg which he crossed with a Lemon Thai and a Hindu Kush to create this potent hybrid. The strain became a staple on the West Coast for its distinct piney and sour-lemon aroma and relaxed yet euphoric high.
HISTORY
The exact origins of OG Kush are debated, but it is widely believed to have emerged in California during the 1990s. The strain gained prominence in the early 1990s when it was brought to the West Coast by a grower known as “Matt ‘Bubba’ Berger” from Florida. The “OG” in OG Kush is often said to stand for “Original Gangster,” though some believe it stands for “Ocean Grown,” referencing its California roots.
